A special note

9/19/01 - As we move into a new era for America, the grief and sadness of WTC created a monstrous weight on all of us.  We can only pray for goodness in the end.  We lost thousands of fellow citizens who were in the middle of their daily routines . . . exactly the same as you are doing while reading this website.  We share a common thread with all of them.   And it hurts.

Through it all, life renews and life goes on.  Amidst our grief and sadness, we still celebrate life.  We learn, share, fight, and win.  And hopefully make a better world for all of us.

The image below, "A Kiss From the Kid", was shot in Glacier National Park in August. This image began to haunt me after the WTC massacre...... the kid and the ewe are beauty and love and innocence . . .
                     . . . the innocence we lost September 11.

And more, it is a reminder that life is beautiful.  Life goes on, and we endure.  And the kid will learn, grow, and mature . . . .
. . . . just maybe not as naive as before.
