| Late afternoon, almost
sunset, after spending a full day exploring areas of the the Paria
Wilderness, I told Jerry we'd visit one more place. We parked the
car along the road and hiked a short mile through a series of washes and
gullies until we abruptly entered a land of . . . mushrooms and
pillars. . . and sanctity.
Upon first entering this spectacular land of hoodoos and pillars,
there is an immediate and overwhelming sensation of spirit and
awe.
. . .A place for meditation.
