Jerry in the Maze

Upper and Lower Antelope slot canyons were, and are, carved from floodwaters after storms.  The soft Navajo sandstone is worn away, grain by grain, each time storm waters drain through the area.

This particular image was made in Lower Antelope Canyon, which is much narrower and  than Upper Antelope.  You can't get lost since the slot canyons are actually part of a "wash", a drainage area for storm waters, and have one direct route from entrance to exit.
