| Deep in the heart of the
Staircase portion of Grand Staircase/Escalante National Monument, there
are a series of cliffs, terraces, wide and narrow canyons.
An interesting spot is the Cottonwood Canyon Wash, a small narrows
with easy access from the road.
Apparently, it had rained very recently, as evidenced by the
thick, wet mud. Jerry always did enjoy playing in the mud. Will we
ever grow up!? |
