Cypress Sunrise

Cliff Kolber

Sunrise in the Everglades can be an explosive moment (ignoring mosquitoes and other nasty insects, of course).  Cypress trees are deciduous and drop their needles in the winter, hence the name "bald cypress".  This cypress tree, shot in the spring, has a full head of needles.
